MOUNT CLEMENS
figure skating CLUB
The Mount Clemens Ice Arena is the home of Mount Clemens Figure Skating Club (MCFSC). The MCFSC is a member of United States Figure Skating (USFS). MCFSC attained their membership in 2002. They are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. They have approximately 70 members.
The MCFSC was formed to encourage the instruction, practice and advancement of its member in any and all disciplines of figure skating; to encourage and cultivate a spirit of fraternal feeling among ice skaters, and to carry out the general policies and objectives of U.S. Figure Skating.
Being a member of MCFSC has many great privileges including your individual USFS membership, a monthly subsciption to Skating Magazine, the opportunity to test and compete in USFS. MCFSC also hosts parties, fundraisers, and an annual awards banquet for its members. Skating members of the MCFSC are given solos, duets or trios in the Mount Clemens Ice Arena's Annual Spring Skating Show.
Whether your focus in figure skating is individual competition, testing or recreational, the Mount Clemens Figure Skating Club is for you. All of these opportunities, as well as becoming a part of a spirited family of figure skating, are available to you when you become a member.
